We strongly recommend you go on one of the numerous walks in the area – some starting at your doorstep. The trails take you into age old indigenous forests dotted with streams and waterfalls whilst others are in the open and offer panoramic views of the Drakensberg and the surrounding hills

Climate

Hot in the summer with serious afternoon electrical storms a regular feature. The winters are cold at night whilst the days are generally mild. This is the time to sit around a fire at night with a glass of good red wine looking at the stars in the clear night skies.
